Recent Creations…Enjoy!

Some new work I’ve been messin’ around with. Some school work and some just for the frack of it.

Delights Cuffs & Lube was a project for my Intro to Packaging class. We were told to find too items and combined them to make a useful packaging. Unfortunately I didn’t know about this until class started so I ran over to Ralphs with my buddy Cameron. He grabbed some K-Y and some batteries and I grabbed the K-Y and handcuffs. We were thoroughly amused as well as our teacher. I should have the packaging up soon. I just finished it, now I have to photograph it. Stay Tuned!

Kid was made about 20 minutes ago. I was in my Intro to Packaging class and I got really bored so I went to KarmaLoop and checked out there new apparel. Saw this picture of a kid wearing that T-Shirt and I knew I wanted to make a vector image out of it. So I missed out on a lecture about some point of purchase display and how to make that, but at least I got a snazy art piece out of it. Im probably going to get this printed and hang it in my room. Stay Tuned!

Barber Fresh was created for my Project Study class. We were given the option to select a hair salon, airline, or hotel. Since I hate flying and I’ve already done a hotel and failed…well lets just say I screwed it up. Anyways as i was deciding to choose a hair salon idea I came across a picture of my good buddy Michael Briones and decided it would be perfect. Once I have the idea I can’t avoid it. It’s like I completely block out any other possibilities. So, the whole idea behind “Barber Fresh” is that he is a cool cat that just wants to give you a fresh “dew.” The owner of this fictitious barber shop is “Mike Fresh” who combines the community or art, music, and, hair. Today I finished the website design so just maybe ill post it…i doubt it…

Lower Definition is also another project from school. This one was to pick a local band in san diego and recreate there logo. I just so happen to know the drummer in this band so I thought, “hey if they like it they might use it” turns out they L-O-V-E it! They aren’t due to make a new CD for a while, but they are in the process of recording. So hopefully, just maybe they will use it. Along with this project we had to created a new CD case, poster, animation, booklet, and a concert poster. I am so incredibly behind in this class due to this logo! so you guessed it…Stay Tuned!

Save The Gingers….hahah I uh…I don’t know. It makes me smile. :]

New business cards in the works…only problem my computer took a shit on me and I lost the original file for these. So most likely I will be making them again and probably going to redesign them. Although I am very happy with them.

All We Ever Do Is Say Goodbye

What do you do when your entire belief system fails you. When you’ve never felt so empty. When you’ve never felt so alone. Everything you believed in, that kept you going turns out to be completely fallacious. Where do you go from there? I am here, and I have never felt so lost. When the person you love makes the most horrific mistake. That they too can’t forgive themselves. When they say they are doing it for the better when its the exact opposite of what you want. Im scared I will be forgotten, or that I wont know them anymore, or that they won’t know me. I guess it really is friends, lovers, or nothing. Life is just life, there is no way around that. How am I suppose to think otherwise? You try to keep the good alive, or find a way to compromise. When in actuality there never is a compromise. I gave everything I had and it still wasn’t enough. I can’t help but take blame for something that wasn’t my fault. You say you “love me” but show the exact opposite. Does doing good things and thinking positive really pay off. I can’t find a reason to why something like this would happen. How I attracted this love and heartache. I need something or someone to blame, other than the person I love. There is no way you can understand my pain. Everyone should just live there life expecting the worse. Better than getting hurt. Isn’t that the whole point of living is to never feel sad or mad. To feel good and accept situations for the way they are. I’ve always said “who says” it can’t work, “who says” life has to be this way or that way. Why does every situation have to have a predicted outcome based on common experiences. Why? I don’t know what to do or what to believe. People always leave. Im not looking for advice just an answer. More importantly I don’t want to be forgotten.

Seasoning of The Night: We The Kings

we the kings

We the Kings are an unapologetically commercial emo-pop band from Bradenton, FL, a small town that also doubles as the home base for Tropicana orange juice. Friends since childhood (the band’s name refers to the name of their junior-high mascot), the foursome — singer and guitarist Travis Clark, guitarist Hunter Thomsen, his bassist brother Drew Thomsen, and drummer Danny Duncan — formed the band while still attending high school.

Everybody DOES Poop

Okay, so i have this thing about public restrooms that really bother me. And i do it too in fact everybody does it.

1. First off everyone poops…so why is it that i cant when there are a bunch of people in the bathroom. I feel like they are all listening to me waiting for me to make a hilarious but disgusting sound…is it just me cause I can’t do it.

2. Why do people insist on starring at your feet…So when you leave the stall you know they are gonna look at you and be like “she is the one with the rainbow flip flops that farted really loud.” Oh no this is better when you wait in a stall until everyone leaves and you finally get up to go and go you see people waiting outside so they can identify your face to your shoes. Its probably just me but I hate it.

3. WASH YOUR FUCKING HANDS. You just scrubbed your VAG with a very delicate piece of tissue do you really think you didn’t get anything on your hands. WRONG. I could punch a baby for every time I see people leaving a stall straight to the exit. Oh and another thing please dry your hands off completely touching a wet door handle is not my idea of being fucking clean.

Thank you for your time.

It is Crucial That you hear Xavier Rudd

xvier rudd

Xavier Rudd – Dark Shades of Blue
Maybe more than any of his previous albums, Xavier Rudd’s Dark Shades of Blue is a balance of darkness and light. That’s what the Australian singer-songwriter/one-man band/didgeridoo virtuoso hears in the disc. Plenty of each went into making the disc. Dark Shades of Blue is the first Rudd album in several years to be recorded in Australia. As a result, it bears the joy and peace of mind that comes with an often-touring artist that gets a chance to catch his breath.

Flava of the Week: Meantime, by The Futureheads

futurheads

Official website

The band met at City of Sunderland College as a trio of Barry Hyde (vocals and guitar), Jaff (bass), and Peter Brewis (drums). Ross Millard (vocals and guitar) joined soon after having been in a band with Jaff. They used the Sunderland City Detached Youth Project building (where Brewis and Hyde worked) as a free practice space, fitting since the project was intended to get young people off the streets by using music. They first performed in 2000, and through word-of-mouth their reputation in the local area grew. Hyde’s younger brother Dave (who replaced Brewis, who went on to join fellow north east rockers Field Music).

Stoner Confessions: Love

Picture 1The thing that scares me the most is love. It’s a feeling we rarely endure and yet we cannot be seen. We get scared and nervous all the time; bills, children, spiders. But we don’t feel love all the time, well at least not  an object. At least its not the same love you share with a person, another being of your species. You’re life goal is to find that person. That one person who will be by your side through this world with unconditional love and to compliment you. Or at least you think you’re are suppose to find that person. What scares me the most is that feeling of rejection. Rejection to the feeling you get when you can’t get your mind off someone. The feeling when your heart is about to beat out of your chest it hurts so bad to think of them. Or knowing there isn’t anybody in the world who can make me feel this way. The feeling of just even thinking about them you are happy they are alive. Or when you truly believe nothing else matters. When you are scared the end result is happy, when you’re hungry you eat, when you get injured, it heals, when you are feeling bold and dangerous most likely you will be a badass. Yet the feeling after love, is never a good outcome. And when we think of loosing this person, we immediately relate it to them being with someone else. We don’t even image loosing them to death, as if they are immortal. I’ve come to the conclusion that love is used too freely. We use to our family members, but are we really in love with them, or do we just love them. We marry in a loveless relationship cause we are scared, want money, or have some ulterior motive. As if love needs more purpose. Is love selfish? Absolutely! I want to be somebody’s, somebody.
